PaymentPayment is expected at the time of your appointment. To make the most of your session, please have your check written beforehand. Checks should be made payable to Julia Cassidy. If you anticipate any difficulty in making the payment at the time of your visit, please discuss this with the RD during your initial interview.
For virtual sessions I accept payment through Venmo, Zelle or Paypal. Payments are due the day session occurs.

CancellationsA 24-hour notice is required for all cancellations. With such notice, I am able to schedule someone else in your time slot. Otherwise, I am unable to fill your appointment time without adequate notice and will have to charge you for the cancellation. I appreciate your cooperation in this regard.
ConfidentialityOur sessions are held in strict confidence. A release form will be used to obtain permission to speak to your physician or therapist.
Medical InsuranceMedical insurance companies may or may not offer coverage for medical nutrition therapy. Carefully investigate the type of coverage you have. It is your responsibility to pay for your visit and to have your insurance company reimburses you if applicable. You will be provided with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
